HR & Payroll Specialist
We're looking for an HR & Payroll Specialist to manage day-to-day HR operations and ensure our team gets paid accurately and on time. You'll handle everything from onboarding to payroll processing to policy compliance.

We're a marketing agency specializing exclusively in the roofing industry, and we're hiring an HR & Payroll Specialist to support our growing remote team. You'll manage HR processes end-to-end — from hiring and onboarding to payroll, benefits, and compliance — keeping our team supported and our operations running smoothly.
What you'll do:
Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees/contractors
Manage onboarding and offboarding, including paperwork, contracts, and system access
Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policy
Administer benefits (if applicable) and answer employee questions
Support recruiting efforts by coordinating interviews and managing candidate communication
Handle employee relations issues and escalate as needed
Track PTO, attendance, and other HR-related records
Keep HR policies and documentation up to date
Requirements
Prior experience in HR and/or payroll (remote/distributed team experience a plus)
Familiarity with payroll software and HR systems
Strong understanding of employment compliance and best practices
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Discreet and trustworthy when handling sensitive employee information
Strong communication skills
